- My life has been changing. My final story. TITLE-CARD

This story was another one made for school. I wanted to do a lot more with it, like edit the text midway through the story, but it needed to be printed text. So can do much with it. Too busy to modify it now so I probably never will. Can use the idea for later!

My life has been changing. My final story.

Things in my life have been changing. It started small at first. I would lose things, things that you couldn't lose. For some context, I own a small house in the middle of the woods. Well, “house” is giving it too much credit. It's more of a cabin than anything. Only a wood-burning furnace to heat the place, a couple of rooms, and a small shed out back.

Shed was a simple thing, just big enough to keep some tools and a lawn mower. The thing survived a tornado ripping through the area. Then one day, it was gone! Not even the foundation was left; in its place, this giant maple tree! Checked the deed later, and found out that the shed was never listed on the property!

After that, more and more things began to change. I found a new room in my house, which again, was never there before. I got new channels on my TV, all in some weird language. The last thing to change was that my car and driveway disappeared!

Plus, with the weather coming up, I can't leave! I don't know what to do. It won't let me contact anyone nearby! It left me where no one can hear me scream.

I am just going to huddle up here and try to survive. Though I am probably already dead. Ensared in some sort of eldritch spider web. Whose designer is just weakening me before the feast.

I hope my parents are okay, same with my friends. Will they even remember me? Will I have ever existed? I just have hope now, hope that I will be remembered.

My name is Jack Truant, and what you just read is my final message. If you remember me, I love you. I don't think I will be coming back, and if you notice a shift in your reality, run. Run, maybe then it won't catch you.
